1989年8月7日出生于美國加利福尼亞州康普頓，在2009年NBA選秀中德羅贊于首輪第9順位被猛龍隊選中，2024年7月加盟國王隊。職業(yè)生涯至今德羅贊先后效力于猛龍、馬刺、公牛和國王隊。德羅贊于2016-17賽季入選最佳陣容三陣，2017-18賽季入選最佳陣容二陣，2021-22賽季入選最佳陣容二陣，6次入選全明星陣容。
國家隊方面，德羅贊于2014年隨美國國家隊奪得男籃世界杯冠軍，2016年又隨美國隊奪得里約奧運會男籃冠軍。
德羅贊上賽季代表公牛出戰(zhàn)79場，場均貢獻24分4.3籃板5.3助攻1.1搶斷，投籃命中率48%，三分命中率33.3%，罰球命中率85.3%。
